Payroll

Give us the information by the 19th of the month and we’ll give you your reports by the 26th, if not sooner! It’s simple with Dropbox.

Even though the target turnaround period is 7 days  we normally do payroll runs within 24 hours of getting your instructions. You might get used to that! But remember, we need your input before the 19th, in order to guarantee completion by the end of the calendar month!

The Important Stuff - Payroll

This is strictly a business to business service and it’s done on the basis of payment with order. No payment equals no payroll!

We do the payroll, but we do not do the HR - you need to keep us in the picture with changes to staff and their salaries. We rely on you to give us the basics, and then we can do the complex things.

By using our templates you can put the right info into Dropbox in the right way. Otherwise it might be a case of GIGO. In UK law it’s up to you, the business owner, to keep proper records. It is up to us, at Bookkeeper 140, to process payrolls and this is how we do it:

Payroll - Step 1 - Using Dropbox

We have lots of clients, so the main folder has to have your name on it. If it just says “payroll” we won’t know whose payroll it is, because they all say “payroll”!

Make a folder like that, and ask Dropbox to share it with bookeeper140 AT proactive.ly

That’s all there is to it for now. We will put the other folders in place for you, using our template.

However, keep reading, because you’ll need to  know about the structure in order to understand the input and output documents. Here’s Step 2
